Linda Mae Rowland, 74, of LaFontaine, Indiana, died at 5:29 am, Friday, August 1, 2025, at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine. She was born on August 10, 1950, in Huntington, Indiana, to Edward and Pearl Wehr.
Linda was a 1968 graduate of Huntington North High School. She married William Rowland in Wabash on October 22, 1985; he died September 7, 2008. Linda worked for DANA Corporation in Andrews and volunteered for Parkview Hospice six years. She was a member of Christian Heritage Church and the Ladies Aide of the church. Linda enjoyed going to casinos with her husband Bill, and loved her volunteer work for hospice.
She is survived by two stepchildren, William Riley Rowland and Kellie (John) Minkler both of Wabash, six grandchildren, Joshua Burton of Alabama, Jordan Rowland of Wabash, Jennifer (Seth) Denney of Roann, Indiana, Jerri Ann (Seth Dillon) DeLong, Alexandria "Lexie" (Cody) Ranger, and Jamie (Jenna) Minkler all of Wabash, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Lovetta "Vet" (Bill) Picklesimer and Trinnia (Alex) Sloan both of Wabash, two longtime friends, Marla (Jason) Cummins of Somerset, Indiana, and Jessaleen Bealer of Huntington, Indiana, and her God family, Jason Wall and Jennifer (Jason) Farris and her children, Jamison, Conner, and Cameron, all of Huntington. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no service. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
