Mark Eugene Quakenbush, 65, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:05 pm, Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on April 24, 1960, in Huntington, Indiana, to Leroy and Rosemary (Miller) Quakenbush.
Mark was a graduate of Shiloh Bible School. He was a driver for Wabash Valley Refuge. Mark was a member of the Wabash Bible Holiness Church. He was a very compassionate person and always put others first. He enjoyed playing music, especially the guitar and harmonica.
He is survived by five children, Jonathon (Elizabeth) Elston of Yorktown, Indiana; Zac Elston and Amanda (Jason) Howard, both of Marion, Indiana, Shayna Elston of Yorktown, and Meagan Elston of Gas City, Indiana, 10 grandchildren, including Jake, Jessie, and Izzy, and his brother, Kenny (Sue) Quakenbush of Sandborn, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Raymond, Robert, David, and Daniel Quakenbush.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Titus Stracener officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Andrews. Friends may call 10-11:00 am Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Wabash Bible Holiness Church.
