On Tuesday, August 26, 2025 Linda Lou Tessler lost her battle with pancreatic cancer at home with her family. Born on March 10, 1954 to the late John David and Philomenia (Schoonmaker) Beesimer, of Kerhonkson New York.
Linda graduated from Rondout Valley High School in Accord New York im 1972. She went to the school of Hard Knocks and spent the next 53 years working hard and being a loving mom and wife. She spent many years working in food service and retail. After moving out of New York in the mid 1990’s, she spent time traveling and living in other states before settling in Gainesville Florida, where she spent 20 plus years working in the meat department of Ward’s Supermarket. Her coworkers there were her second family. She loved aggravating them and keeping them in line.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Janet, Douglas, John, Vivian, Diane, Roger, Cheryl Williams, Doris Decker and Malvina Haskett. She is survived by her husband of forty one years Michael A Tessler of Gainesville Florida, her daughter Tisha (BJ) Boyette and her grandchildren Courtney and John Boyette of Lake Butler and her brother Thomas (Rosalie) Beesimer of Stone Ridge New York.
