Linda Kay Valenta, 75, passed away on October 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith that touched everyone she met.

Born on July 29, 1950, Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, R.L. and Lillie Mae Shafer, and her beloved husband, Freddie Joe Valenta, with whom she shared years of partnership, laughter, and cherished memories.

Linda's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her three daughters: Shelly Rae Davis, Stephanie Gerjes Morgan (Chris), and BJ Gerjes Biehunko (John). She took immense pride in her grandchildren: Blayke (Kaci) Kubenka, Dylan Hase, Quinton Kubenka, Bryce Hase, Haeleigh Morgan, Ryder Hase, Emalee Morgan, Natalie Morgan, Colton Biehunko, and Peyton Biehunko, and her great-grandchildren: Cash Kubenka, Harley Kubenka, and Cadie Kubenka. Her faithful companion, Milo, was always by her side, sharing in her daily joys.

Linda was also loved by her siblings: Timothy Shafer (Karen), Tyann Fowler (Danny), and Lamar Shafer (Susan), as well as countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever remember her generosity, warmth, and infectious laughter.

Linda had a vibrant and full life. She loved spending time at church, volunteering at the House of Blessings, enjoying water aerobics, and playing bingo with friends. Her quirky sassy sense of humor and radiant spirit could light up any room, and she had a special way of making everyone feel valued and loved. She cherished every conversation, every laugh, and every opportunity to support her family and community.

Her life was defined by her faith, her devotion to family, and her joyful embrace of life's everyday moments. Linda had the rare ability to blend humor, love, and wisdom into every interaction, leaving a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of kindness, laughter, and faith will continue to inspire those she touched.

"Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." -Proverbs 31:31

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul." - Psalm 23:1–3
