Linda Vanderploeg

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda Vanderploeg, 75, of Ohatchee, will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Linda will be laid to rest following the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Linda met her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 27, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family. Those preceding Linda in death include her parents, Woodson Joe Mosley and Betty Brown Mosely; her son, Timothy Vanderploeg, Jr.; and her brother, Ronald Mosely. Left to cherish the memory of Linda include her husband of 56 years, Timothy K. Vanderploeg; his children, Joel Vanderplog and Susan Allen; his grandchildren, Kelsi Allen, Jacob Allen, Caleb Farlow, and Kenley Farlow; her sister, Susan Murray; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be family members and friends. Linda was a member of Whites Gap Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She grew up in the Blue Mountain area and attended Saks High School. Linda worked as a Department Manager at Walmart in Anniston for eight years but was primarily a homemaker. She had a passion for helping others and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
