Linda Watkins, age 75, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born in Piedmont, AL.
Linda was known for her feisty Southern spirit and her heart of pure gold. She had a way of making everyone feel at home the moment they walked through her door. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone who married into the family, Linda made sure you knew-you were family now and forever.
Linda's greatest joy in life was her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren, and she never missed a birthday or special occasion. Her love showed in everything she did-from sewing beautiful pieces by hand to filling her kitchen with the smell of home-cooked meals and freshly baked cookies.
Family dinners were the highlight of her week, and Christmas Eve at Linda's house was a cherished tradition for many years-filled with laughter, stories, and plenty of good food. She had a gift for bringing people together, and her warmth will be deeply missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
Linda leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Preceded in death by her father Joseph Early, mother Hazel Early, seven brothers five sisters, her grandsons, Joshua, Bencoma, and Hezekiah Duval. Survived by son, Edward Early spouse Laura Early, daughter Sandra Daubenspeck, Shalonda Duval, spouse Dwaune Duval, daughter, Jenny Mayes, daughter, DeeAnn Brantley, spouse David Brantley, daughter, LeeAnn Benham, daughter Lacy Watkins, daughter Andi West, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
