Linda Towns Wheeler -age 82 of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday evening, April 9, 2025. Linda was born on June 11, 1942 to the late Robert Kelsey Towns, Sr. and Jessie Huggins Towns. She graduated from Lenoir City High School. Linda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from the banking industry. She was a talented artist.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth R. Wheeler, Sr.; son, Kenneth R. "Bo" Wheeler, Jr.; and brother, Robert K. Towns, Jr.
Surviving is her daughter, Teresa Wheeler Holland; daughter-in-law, Tammy Hall Wheeler; grandchildren: Morgan Holland Sparks and husband, Preston Sparks (Franklin, TN), Kelsey Stettler and husband, Kenny (Ellabell, GA), Kenneth Ray "Trey" Wheeler, III and wife, Angelika (Lenoir City, TN); five great grandsons: Ryan, Joseph, Tobias, Tavin, and Henry and great granddaughters, McKinley, Grace, and Adalyn; Kelsey and Trey's mother, Cindy Latham (Friendsville, TN); and Morgan's father, Stuart Holland.
Family and friends will gather at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15th at Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services and interment with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street in Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.

Linda and I lived in the same community for a number of years...and I was truly saddened to learn of her passing. Words can never replace the love and presence of your loved one, but I will pray for JESUS CHRIST to give you peace as you lay your blessed loved one to her final resting place.
