Lindsay Kirstin Behney passed away in her sleep in the morning of January 31, 2025, at the Capital Caring Adler Center in Aldie, Virginia. Lindsay was a devoted and passionate mother to her two children, a lifelong resident of Arlington Virginia, a graduate of Yorktown High School, a national mathematics award-winning student who was also a gifted artist. She loved reading manga, creating art, gaming, and most of all spending time with her beloved daughters and their cat Luna.
Lindsay is survived by her two daughters, Imani Tigney, a student at Virginia Commonwealth University, and Amiyah Tigney, a senior at Yorktown High School in Arlington, her brothers Fletcher Behney, of Arlington VA, and Taylor Behney, of Fairfax VA, and her father Clyde Behney, from Arlington VA. She was preceded in death by her mother Nancy Kenney Behney. The immediate family held a memorial dinner in Lindsay's memory at her home in Arlington VA.
