Linnea Maska, age 79, passed away on June 29, 2025. Raised in West Deptford, she was a member of the first graduating class of West Deptford High School in 1964. Linnea was a longtime resident of West Deptford and also lived in Woodbury Heights and, her favorite, Ocean City, NJ.
She was proud to earn her bachelor's degree in psychology from Stockton University in 1996 and worked as a case manager for many years at New Point Behavioral Health and Heartland Hospice. Linnea loved Ocean City and spending time at the beach. However, her greatest joy came from being a devoted and loving grandmother; she rarely missed an event for any of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Dean (the late Cheryl) McFadden and Cori (Paul) McMahon, as well as her grandchildren, Caelie and Cassara McFadden and Burke McMahon. Linnea was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Catherine Maska, and her brothers, Charles "Pat" and Edwin Maska.
Friends may greet the family on Thursday, July 3, 2025 after 9:30 AM at the Budd Funeral Home, located at 522 Salem Avenue, Woodbury, NJ. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM, followed by interment at Eglington Cemetery. Those wishing to make a contribution may do so to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
