MUNCIE
Linville Ray "Tootie" Muncie, Jr., 81, passed away on July 1, 2024, in Springfield, Ohio. Born on July 23, 1942, in Irvine, Kentucky, Linville was a cherished member of his community and a lover of the outdoors. His passion for farming, gardening and caring for animals reflected his gentle spirit and nurturing personality.
Linville is survived by his siblings Robert (Marge) Muncie, Ralph Muncie, Linda (Terry Laird) Richmond, Kathy Muncie, Richard (Sharon) Muncie, and Chloe Muncie, as well as brother-in-law and friend Camm Richmond. Additionally, he also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss his kind presence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linville and Virginia Muncie, and his brothers, James and Roger Muncie and nephew Tyler Muncie.
Visitation to honor Linville's life will be held in the Eberle Fisher Funeral Home & Crematory, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio, on Saturday, July 6, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM with a graveside service following immediately after in South Solon Cemetery, South Solon, Ohio. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join in commemorating Linville's life.
In celebration of Linville's life, contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society, 2020 State Route 142 NE, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162, an organization close to Linville's heart due to his love for animals. Linville's legacy of kindness and compassion will be remembered by all who knew him.
