Lisa K. Brunell, aged 49, of Shrewsbury, passed away on Sunday, March 16th in Noblesville, Indiana.
Lisa is survived by her loving parents, William A. and Jean E. (Ferguson) Brunell, along with her sister-in-law Kimberly Brunell of Holden. She was cherished by her niece Lillian and her nephews Brady and Wesley, as well as many cousins with whom she shared a close bond. Lisa was predeceased by her brother, Eric W. Brunell, Holden, who sadly passed away last year.
Born in Worcester, Lisa graduated from Shrewsbury High School, class of 1993 and attended Worcester State University. She worked for several companies as a customer service representative and was known to be an excellent and compassionate problem solver in that capacity.
Lisa was an avid reader of books from many different genres. She embraced life with kindness and compassion towards others. She was a lover of the arts and classic rock. She adored her many cousins and loved to recount all the shenanigans that they all got into in their younger and sometimes later years. She doted over her niece and nephews. She loved planning things for them and taking them on any adventure they chose. Lisa would light up any room she walked into with her bright smile and booming laugh! She will be remembered for her somewhat, infectious hippy happy vibe.
Lisa had just moved to Indiana and was building a new and happy life with “her person” Rick. As with all her friends and family, she was extremely loving and generous to Rick. She was finally happy. The only drawback to being in Indiana was the long journey back to her family and friends in Massachusetts!
Her family takes comfort in the fact that her sudden death occurred at a time when she was truly happy with her life, and that she is at peace.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Saturday April 12 from 2:00-4:00 PM in Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
