Of Marlborough, formerly of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 17th, 2024, with loving family by her side at Marlborough Hospital at the age of 52.
Born on September 16, 1971 in Brighton, MA; beloved daughter of the late Vivien Vergato. Lisa was raised and educated in Waltham and has been a resident of Waltham, Hudson and Marlborough for many years.
Lisa was mainly a stay at home mom who worked throughout her life as a home health aide for Visiting Angels. She was a life long fan of the Beatles (especially Paul McCartney), the Halloween season, watching Real Crime TV and spending time with her family, friends and beloved pets (Meeko and Bun Bun).
She is survived by her daughters Alisha Hankins and her spouse Justin Uhlman of Worcester, and Nikita Hankins of Framingham, her sons Joe Coelho and his spouse Danielle Higgins of Marlborough, and Tyler Coelho and his spouse Elizabeth Gaudette of Framingham, her cousin Elizabeth Taylor-Wiggins and her husband David Wiggins of Tyngsboro. She is also survived by her boyfriend Michael Babin, step daughters Ashley and her spouse Devin Aponte-Duffy and Stephanie Babin, and step granddaughter Aubrey Aponte. Lisa had many grandchildren whom she adored namely Adriana Carson, Romello Bradshaw, Samuel Coelho, Dominic Coelho and Scarlett Coelho. She's is predeceased by her grandparents Dominic and Martha (Debona) Vergato, her mother Vivien Vergato, her aunts Jeannette Vergato-Taylor and Delores Lawless (Vergato), and her brother Mark Hankins.
Those who wish to pay their respects to Lisa and her family may do so at the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on SATURDAY, January 20th, from 11am to 12 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Lisa's life and to remember the love and friendship she shared with others, for a Funeral Service in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home on SATURDAY afternoon January 20th at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham on High Street.
