On Sunday, March 23rd 2025, Elizabeth "Lisa" Goodwin Simpson, passed away in Vero Beach, Florida in the presence of her loved ones.
Lisa was born on January 17,1962 the first child of Clifford L. & Gaynor Milliron Goodwin in Dawson, Georgia.
A job offer in the citrus industry for Lisa's father, moved the family to Vero Beach, Florida in 1964.
Lisa had a love for horses as a teenager and attended Tabernacle Baptist School of Vero Beach.
Shortly after high school, Lisa started her family with her firstborn, Joey, and then her daughters: Alyssa and Amber to follow soon after.
Lisa decided on her career path later in life when she discovered a passion for cosmetology. She enjoyed being a cosmetologist in Vero Beach for more than 25 years.
She was an animal lover and was so talented in crafts. She enjoyed and shared her love of scrapbooking with so many likeminded people going to crops as often as she could.
Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents and her favorite dog, Sven.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Raymond Simpson, Jr.; father, Clifford L. Goodwin; mother, Gaynor Milliron Goodwin; sister Crystal (Michael) Vickers; son, Joseph Cantrell; daughters: Alyssa (Searg) Davidian, Amber (Brian Gagnon) Cantrell; grandchildren: Joseph Xavier Cantrell, Codie Higgins, Sage Davidian, George Allison, Sevan Davidian, Kennedy Cantrell and Khloe Cantrell as well as many other loving family members including those in Georgia and friends.
