Lisa Marie Spence, 61, of Virginia Beach VA passed away on August 28, 2025.

Lisa was born on July 2, 1964 in Pensacola Florida to Kathleen Deaver Jones and Johnny J Comeaux Sr. She grew up in Pensacola and Virginia Beach before relocating to Scotland with her mom and stepdad. She had her only child James while living abroad. Lisa then returned to the United States in 1998 and settled in Virginia Beach where she has resided since.

Over her 30 years working at Geico Lisa worked her way up from sales to an Underwriting Supervisor. She loved her work and the people she worked with. Messages have been sent to Lisa's family from some of her colleagues and apparently they loved her just as much.

In Lisa's free time she enjoyed gardening where she had an incredible green thumb. She loved being on the beach in the Outer Banks. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her life partner Tommy Reeps; her son James Spence; her grandchildren Layton, Rylin, Jace and Sienna; her siblings Linda Chance, Johnny Comeaux Jr, Liz Guillotte; her nieces and nephews Kassandra Leonard, Skye Hawley, Micah Guillotte, Tanner Comeaux; and her father Johnny Comeaux Sr.

She was preceded in death by her mom Kathleen Jones.

A celebration to honor Lisa's life will be held on Wednesday, 9/3/25 6:00 to 8pm at Hollomon and Brown, Great Neck Chapel, 1264 Great Neck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23454

Lisa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
