Lisa Kay Stevens, a loving mother, devoted friend, and kind soul, passed away on
September 29, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 15, 1967, Lisa lived her life with compassion, strength, and an infectious joy that made the world a little brighter for everyone around her. She was the rock of her family, a beacon of unwavering support and unconditional love.
Family and Friends
Lisa is survived by her two sons, Rock and Stone, who were the pride of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved youngest son, Coal, who passed away in September 2021, and her only daughter, who left this world in February 1996. Lisa's parents, who were always a loving presence in her life, are also remembered, as her mother passed shortly after Lisa, on October 14, 2024. Among those she cherished most was her best friend Brenda, a lifelong companion from their high school years, who stood by her through every season of life.
A Life of Love and Dedication
Lisa's incredible warmth and generosity were felt by all who knew her. She was an amazing mother who put her children above all else, always ready to sacrifice her needs to make sure they thrived. From leading her children in martial arts to cheering them on in every aspect of their lives, Lisa was an inspiring figure. She was a two-time state champion in karate, winning titles in 1999 and 2000-a testament to her determination and strength.
A Heart Full of Compassion
Beyond her accomplishments, it was Lisa's heart that left the deepest impact. She had an extraordinary way of making others feel loved and seen. Whether it was through sneaking gifts, planning surprises, or offering a comforting hug, Lisa always found the perfect way to show she cared. Her empathy knew no bounds, and her loved ones could always count on her-day or night.
Passion, Style, and Individuality
Lisa was passionate about rock 'n' roll music, always ahead of fashion trends, and she embraced her individuality fully. She never sought to blend in, instead blazing her own trail with a style all her own. To her children and those who knew her best, she leaves behind a legacy of compassion, selflessness, and an enduring reminder to celebrate life to its fullest.
"Until We Meet Again"
"Until we meet again." These were Lisa's words whenever it was time to say goodbye. She refused to see any farewell as the end, and her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. Lisa's warmth, her laughter, and her boundless love will forever be cherished.
Lisa will be remembered for her compassion, her incredible devotion to her family, and her unending capacity to make others feel loved. Her kindness and spirit live on in everyone she touched, and until we meet again, she will be forever in our hearts.
