Lloyd S. Lowinger, 66, husband of Bonnie Jayson Lowinger of Norwalk, CT passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Norwalk Hospital. Born January 13, 1958, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Ruth Lowinger.
Lloyd attended Herricks High School in New Hyde Park, NY, Trinity College in Hartford, CT and Boston University Law School. He was an attorney, practicing law for over 40 years.
Lloyd enjoyed spending time on the golf course, reading novels, talking sports with his sons, and visiting his newly born granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and his sons Seth and his wife Rachel and daughter Phoebe of New York, NY and Michael and his wife Kirsten of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his brother Robert of Dacula, GA and his sister Karyn of Croton on Hudson, NY and by 8 nieces and nephews, and 7 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Services will be held Friday at 11 am at Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road Fairfield, CT. Interment will follow at Temple Shalom Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.
Shiva will be held at 940 Flintlock Road, Southport, CT 06890 on Friday, December 6, from 2-5pm and 6-8pm and there will be visiting hours on Saturday, December 7, from 1-4pm and 6-8pm.
In lieu of flowers we kindly ask that donations be made in his memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation (www.michaeljfox.org).

I am so sorry to hear about Lloyd's passing. We were good friends in high school and although we often disagreed politically, I always appreciated his inherent kindness and intelligence. My sincere condolences to his family.
