Logan Parrish

Logan Wayne Parrish, 21, of Elliottsburg, tragically died Thursday, April 6, 2023.
Born December 25, 2001 in Carlisle, he was the son of Dennis and Jill (Hurley) Parrish.
Logan was a graduate of West Perry High School, class of 2020 and a member of both the New Bloomfield and Belleville Fire Companies.
Logan will be remembered for his loving heart. He loved his family and many friends dearly. He also helped many others and enjoyed his time in the fire service. Most of all he loved making people laugh and being the center of attention.
Logan grew up in Landisburg where he enjoyed spending time on his grandparents and great grandparents' farms where he would hunt, fish and always lend a hard working hand. His work ethic and willingness to help will always be remembered.
His passion was found driving trucks and operating heavy equipment at a very young age. There was never any doubt Logan was coming because it was either full throttle or Jake brakes on high.
Logan unwound by riding Harley's, spending time around campfires and activities staying true to his country boy lifestyle. He will be forever loved and missed by many.
In addition to his parents, Logan is survived by his girlfriend: Mariah; his brothers: Jayden and Landen; his sister: Maisie; his grandparents: Dennis, Sr. and Deb Parrish, Greg Hurley, Joan Hobble; his uncles: Gregory Hurley, Zachary (Julia) Hurley, Charley Hurley; his aunts: Shelley (Rich) Hormel, Nancy (Ed) Buczeskie, Michelle Myers, Michelle Cotton, and Brooke Hobble as well as many cousins and his dog: Remmi.
Logan was preceded in death by his grandparents: James and Joy Reisinger, Russell and Sara Hurley and Aaron Hobble.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 1 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Logan's GoFundMe or to Memorial Fund for Logan Parrish, 5125 Spring Road, P.O. Box 60, Shermans Dale, PA 17090 (put memorial fund for Logan Parrish in the memo) to help defray the cost of Logan's funeral.
