Rochester-
Passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2024 at the age of 94.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Daniel; brother, Dr. William Anderson & sister, Marietta Eklund.
She is survived by her children, William (Stephanie) Bemish; Susan (Evan) Dobbins; grandchildren, John, Mackenzie, Daniel, David & Katiclaire; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lois was a strong, independent & well traveled woman. She & Dan enjoyed life to the fullest traveling, gardening, playing golf, spending time with friends & being with family. Lois would go out of her way to take care of the people around her. She was committed to doing everything well, including her career as a secretary on the New York Stock Exchange, the CIA & Eastman Kodak. At the end of the day, she loved nothing more than her family.
Family will receive friends Thursday April 25, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A service will be held on Friday April 26, 2024 at 10:00am at Community Christian Church, 2647 Chili Avenue.
Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
In Lois' honor, contributions may be made to: The Christmas Sharing Project of the York United Persbyterian Church, P.O. Box 188, York, New York, 14592.

So saddened to learn of Mrs. B's passing. She was such a wonderful lady and we will always remember her for being a gentle, kind spirit, a loyal and stalwart neighbor and a consummate gardener. May she rest in peace amongst the loveliest of flowers! With sympathy, The Saunders Family
