Lois Gregory, age 74 years, of the Slavens Community died Sunday, February 9, 2025 at her home.

She was born on August 25, 1950 the daughter of the late Leonard and Odell (Gregory) Gregory. Lois was a homemaker and member of the Clark Hollow United Baptist Church. Baking, her grandchildren, and flowers were her favorite things in life, she had been a true Pastor’s wife to her husband and her community.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Junior Roberts, Roy Dean Gregory, Ernest Gregory, Homer Gregory, Buddy, Gregory, and Eugene Gregory.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Silas Gregory, whom she married May 15, 1965; children, Ralph Gregory of Stearns, Kentucky, Sketter Vaughn (Dwight, Deceased) of Stearns, Kentucky, Marie Gregory of Burnside, Kentucky, and James Gregory (Jo) of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Tasha, Trey, Jordan, Jacob, Brandon, Stacey, and Sara; great grandchildren, Nash, Allister, Greyson, Reagan, Zander, Mason, Cadinace, Bentley, Jackson, Charlotte, Kira, Imaleigh, and Ian; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Sumner officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
