Lola Connie Newton, age 73 of New Johnsonville, TN passed away Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born on June 18, 1951 in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late Artmer Louise and Grover Cleveland "Jack" Moore, Jr. Throughout her life, Connie exemplified what it meant to be  nurturing and dedicated. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. As a homemaker, Connie poured her heart and soul into her family. She fulfilled her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmommie with grace and unwavering love, leaving a lasting mark on the lives of her loved ones. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years, Jerold Newton of New Johnsonville, TN; son, Alan Newton (Melissa) of Waverly, TN; grandchildren, Kelly Newton, Morgan Newton and Tyler Newton; and sisters, Susie Jones (Jimmy) and Vicki Bottoms.

Along with her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her son, Jamie Newton; and brothers, Jackie Moore and Dale Moore.

In keeping with Mrs. Connie's wishes there will be no public services scheduled.

Arrangments are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
