Loree Anne Hildebrandt

Loree Anne Hildebrandt, 92, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on August 29, 2025 at her home while on hospice being taken care of by her loving children. Loree was born in Kewanna, Indiana on May 26th, 1933 to Clem and Florence Graham. She graduated from high school and was spirited away to Texas days later after marrying the love of her life, Hiram Hildebrandt, just days shy of her 18th birthday. When her children were older, she obtained her real estate license. and was an active broker with her own company, Loree Hildebrandt Real Estate, Inc. until her passing. In her younger days, she and Hi were busy with the church youth group. Always an active person, she was known for her baking and during the Christmas season, the smell in the house was amazing as she produced dozens of cookies and breads for friends and family. An avid fan of the Heartland Film Festival, everything stopped for a week in October as she and her daughters binge watched movies both at the theater and at home. She also enjoyed live theater and concerts with a special love of jazz and classical music. Through the years she and Hi "adopted" many other people who passed through their lives and became known as Mom and Dad to them as well. Others remember her from working on her rental properties where she spent many years as a "fixer" and helped people secure safe places to live. Loree is survived by her children Sue (Mil), Eric (Konstanze) and Lynn. She is also survived by grandsons Cole and Hagen and great-grand son Dalton. Her brother Roger Graham, her late grand-daughter's husband Frank Royko and bonus son Gary Dagey also survive. Loree was preceded in death by her infant daughter Jill, her husband Hiram, her brother William Graham and her granddaughter Helena Royko. A celebration of life will be held at Six Points Church in Sheridan on October 18th with visitation at 10:30 and a service at 11:30.
