Lorene Harrell, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 11, 2025.
Funeral is 11 AM Monday November 17, 2025 at First Baptist Church Springtown with burial at Garvin Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Officiant is Kris Thompson. Pallbearers include Robert Brown, Clint Brown, Dylan Brown, Tommy Mann, Josh Mann and Kinsler Thompson.
Born January 14, 1933 in Rosebud, Texas, Lorene was the daughter of Robert and Ida Lena Mayer. On June 2, 1951 she married Glen Edward Harrell in Haslet, Tx. They were married 68 years before his passing January 7, 2019. Lorene was a member of the Springtown Baptist church. She loved gardening and family meals with fresh out of her garden meals many Sundays with a home filled with love and laughter. Neighbors were always welcome with a glass of tea and her famous homemade pies. Lorene was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ida Mayer; husband, Glenn Harrell; sisters, Dorothy Lowe and Doris Overstreet.
Those left to cherish her memory are her girls; Debbie Brown and husband Robert, Donna Mann and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Clint Brown, Lynsie Thompson and husband Kris, Josh Mann and wife Cami; great grandchildren; Dylan Brown, Kinsler and Lincoln Thompson, Landri and Lilah Mann, many beloved nieces and nephews and other family members.
Lorene also shared love to her extended family at Elk Creek Memory Care as well as previous caretakers, Lisa, Cynthia, Kim and Ashley and would like to thank Gabrielle Hospice for all the wonderful care.
