Lorenzo Hill, age 67 of Sicklerville, formerly of Pennsauken, New Jersey, passed away on August 9, 2025 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on July 29, 1958 to the late Barner Lee Hill and Arjewel (nee Hurry).
Beloved husband of Lisa Renee Hill (nee Bounds); Devoted father of Danielle Freeman, Danene Hill and Daniel (Darcy) Freeman; Loving grandfather of Jacob Freeman, Lorenzo Hill, Kobe Johnson and Kai Johnson; Dear brother of the late Clifford and Roger Hill and brother in law of Mildred Hill, Erica Bounds and Tamika Bounds. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Hill was employed for many years as a Civil & Structural Engineer, and was also an investor in real estate. He received his Bachelor's degree in 1980 from Florida A & M University, where he played trumpet in the Florida A & M Marching 100, and was a member of the Nu Nu Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.. He received his Master's degree in 1988 from the Newark College of Engineering.
Lorenzo was extremely proud of his family, and loved hearing about his children's and grandchildren's events and accomplishments. He was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, loved to make people laugh, and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, whether cooking or baking.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, August 14 from 10 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will take place at a later date at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
