Loretta Lucille Nading

Loretta Lucille Nading, 91, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the UnityPoint St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church: 201 1st Ave, Hiawatha, Iowa 52233. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at the church.
Loretta was born April 26, 1934, in Luzerne, Iowa, the daughter of Everett and Kathryn (Kluss) Koehn. She was united in marriage to Robert Nading on July 10, 1976. Loretta was a bookkeeper for several companies for 30 years in the Cedar Rapids area. She then owned and operated Mill Ltd. Restaurant in Mederville, Iowa, for 11 years. After this she returned to Cedar Rapids.
Loretta was very faithful to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through her volunteer services she was a very compassionate woman. She volunteered her services to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha for 17 plus years. She was a member and volunteer at Zion Lutheran Church. Loretta enjoyed playing bingo at the Hiawatha Community Center, going dancing, and playing cards.
Left to cherish her memory are her nieces; Sally Wapp, Korene (Jim) Wapp, Bonnie (Todd) Claussen, and many additional loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Robert, brother Roger, sister-in-law, Romona Koehn, and a nephew Ricky Koehn.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Hiawatha Care Center and UnityPoint St. Luke's Hospital for all their tender loving care given to Loretta.
