Loretta (Rita) Pello, 90, of Espyville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, September 1, 2025, at her residence.
Born May 22, 1935, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Zygmond and Helen (Nowacki) Zablotny. She married Robert (Bob) Pello on May 3, 1958, at St. Adelbert’s Church in the Southside of Pittsburgh. Bob preceded her in death on October 7, 2011.
She worked as a real estate manager at Holiday Camplands in Andover, Ohio for over 30 years and retired at the age of 85. She was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church in Linesville.
Rita was happy, fun loving, hardworking and cherished her family. She loved country living, working outdoors, cutting grass, planting, gardening, animals and feeding the birds. She loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rita was adored by her friends and family.
Survivors include her daughter, Andrea Marshall and her husband, Tom of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren, Jessica Dersch and her husband, Eric, of Springboro and Ashley Roeser and her husband, Phil, of Pittsburgh; a brother, Zygmond Zablotny and his wife, Marlene, of Pittsburgh; and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Anita Norris; grandson, David Lennon Jr.; and two brothers, Joseph and James Zablotny.
Calling hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A memorial service will follow the calling hours on Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
