Loretta Lynn (Poffenberger) Swick was born on May 24, 1969, in Hagerstown, MD. She passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at the age of 56.
She was the child of the late JoAnn (Hall) Poffenberger and Jack Poffenberger.
Loretta dedicated her life to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in Florida and Maryland. She cherished her time with her kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
Loretta is preceded in death by her late fiancé, Moe (Woodrow) Howard Green, with whom she shared 17 years.
Loretta is survived by her stepmother, Rita Norris; her children, Ricky (Richard) Cecil Morre III, and fiancé Tara Hamilton, Zach (Zachary) James Swick, and fiancé Austyn Mills, Joey (Joseph) Swick and Partner Ryan Kelly; stepsons, Bradley Green, Brandon Green and wife Jillian Green, Nathan Rolling, and Alexis Malone. Loretta is also survived by her siblings, Judy Landis and husband Larry Landis, John Poffenberger, Ashley Wertman and husband Joshua Wertman, Jack Poffenberger and wife Allisa Poffenberger, Austin Poffenberger and wife Cheyenne Poffenberger; and many grandkids, Izzy Green, Mckinley Hamilton, Miley Hamilton, Willow Hamilton, Jaxon Green, Codie Green, Damian Green; as well as nieces and nephews, Jessica Moore, Amy Moore, Shayla Landis, and Larry Lee Landis II.
In accordance with her wishes, Loretta will be cremated.
