Lori Ann Carver

Lori Ann Carver, a cherished member of the Shelby Township community in Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, in Clinton Township, Michigan. She was 53 years old. Born on December 21, 1969, in Bremerhaven, West Germany, Lori's journey through life was one filled with love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Lori's life story was woven with threads of devotion and a strong sense of family values. She was born to Carol Hincka (nee' Richards) and the late William Kolakowski, a union that would set the foundation for the remarkable woman she became. Growing up with a strong work ethic and an innate kindness, Lori embodied these traits in every aspect of her life.
Professionally, Lori found her place as a sales clerk at Big Lot's in Shelby Township, Michigan. Her friendly demeanor and genuine willingness to assist customers made her a beloved presence in the store. Her commitment to her work was a reflection of her dedication to ensuring that those around her felt valued and cared for.
Lori was not only an exceptional worker, but she was also a devoted mother. Her love for her two sons, Derek Lee Carver and Justin Andrew Carver, was evident in every moment they shared. As a grandmother, Lori found immense joy in her two adorable grandchildren, forming bonds that will forever be cherished.
Lori's role as a daughter was one of respect and admiration for her mother, Carol Hincka. She was a source of strength and guidance for Lori, a legacy that Lori carried forward in her relationships with her own children.
In addition to her immediate family, Lori was a cherished sister. She was preceded in death by her father, William Kolakowski, and is survived by her siblings Michael Kolakowski, William Kolakowski, Keri Baker, Bill, Dale, Kyle, and Shela. The bonds of family were an integral part of Lori's life, and her siblings held a special place in her heart.
