Lori Gee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. - Hopewell Junction on Dec. 23, 2025.
Lori Jeanne Morgan Gee, of East Fishkill, New York passed away unexpectedly on December 5th, 2025 at the age of 56. She is survived by her loving husband Richard Gee, parents Martha and Conrad Morgan of Hyde Park, her sister Lynn Eady (Aaron), of Apex NC, brother Peter Morgan (Gabriela) of Poughkeepsie, and her extended family Shannon and Regina Weyrick of Highland, and nieces and nephews Jennifer, Elisabeth, William and Robert Gee, Alex and Fiona Eady, Nella and Jonas Morgan, and Sarah and Justin Weyrick.

Lori grew up in Hyde Park, New York, and graduated from FDR High School and Cornell University. She entered banking as a summer intern which blossomed into a successful lifelong career with M&T Bank. She grew to become a Senior Vice President and Senior Product Owner in the Business Banking Division where she led a team called nGnuity that focused on some of the Bank's most important and challenging technical projects to create better experiences for clients and employees. Her team flourished under her leadership and embodied her "can do" spirit and deep appreciation for positive work culture. Lori excelled at problem solving and thrived on her ability to teach and develop those around her, mentoring several individuals outside of her core duties to help them achieve their dreams.

Lori touched the lives of many people with her brilliant mind, positive spirit, and incredible ability to help others. Beyond her love and devotion to family and her professional career, Lori also served her community as a dedicated member of the East Fishkill Planning Board including many years as Chairwoman. She cared deeply about the town and its development.

Lori was an avid football fan, loved arts and crafts, and traveled to many places around the world, with a special love for the beauty and serenity of Alaskan land and sea. She also enjoyed quiet time at home with her beloved husband Richard who loves her dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Lori's life will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Saturday, March 21st 2026 between 11am and 2pm. Lori

You are a treasure. I am blessed to have had the good fortune of working with you.
You have a beautiful mind and a kind soul. Thank you for teaching me Business Banking and process and so many things. When I assumed your position after you shifted to a strategic role, I thought I would never fill your shoes! You were so patient with me and guided me often.

Such a darling. We will feel your loss for years to come.

May Richard and your family, your friends and M&T family find peace in your memory. Rest in Peace my friend and fellow road warrior. You will be missed...
