Lori Ann Irvine passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at the age of 56, after courageously battling ovarian cancer. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Roy and Jane Irvine, Lori was a resident of Cherry Hill for the past 21 years. She earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University and dedicated 33 years to her career as a publishing executive with Elsevier in Philadelphia. Lori shared 33 wonderful years with her beloved partner and husband, Matt Andrews. She was the cherished sister of Lisa Irvine and dear sister-in-law of Jen and Pete Adams and their children Emma, Kate, and Christopher; and brother-in-law Michael and Maria Andrews and their son James. Lori had a great love for dogs and a passion for staying active. She enjoyed playing volleyball and pickleball, and in her younger years at Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth, Texas, she played both basketball and softball. Above all, Lori deeply cherished the time spent with her husband and family. Her warmth, strength, and spirit will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street. Family sharing and remembrances will begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an ovarian cancer foundation of your choice. Lori's services will be lived stream at this link: https://www.viewlogies.net/givnish/O9TYQVECp?pin=053616

I was a teacher at Lori's high school, which is Nolan High School in Fort Worth, Texas. Along with her sister, Lisa, she was very active in the Christian Life Community (CLC) that I moderated along with Terry Fischer (now Terry Kubitza), who was also their softball coach. I would frequently attend their games after school let out, and I have some wonderful memories planning CLC activities with both Lori and Lisa. At the time of her graduation, Lori was the recipient of the Marian Award, which is the highest award granted to any graduating student at Nolan High School. I was a teacher there for 10 years, and I have always felt that there was never a more deserving person of that prestigious award. At the time, I felt as if Lori and Lisa received the award together! I most certainly mourn her passing with extra feelings, because it is very difficult for a teacher to see a former student pass on. I send my prayers to her family, especially Lisa, who is a very special person!

I was saddened to hear about the passing of my high school classmate, Lori. Although I did not know her well, I remember her as a kind person and a talented athlete. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. May she rest in peace. - Christina (Mactal) Haaf, Nolan HS Class of '87
