Age 62 was reunited with her loving husband, John Singletary after 8 long years apart on Friday October 3, 2025 at St. Mary Hospital in Kankakee. Late of Manteno, formerly many years in Lockport. Lori was a Rural Carrier for the US Postal Service giving thirty plus years of service. She is survived by her loving daughter KatieLynn Singletary; sister Denise (Dan) Volz; grandchildren Tucker James and Leia Frances, also numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends/sister's. She is preceded in death by her husband John Singletary; parents Leonard and Neva Emmitt; stepfather Paul Lundsrud, and a sister Cathy Gorski. Per her families wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
