Lori Solon Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel on Sep. 9, 2025.
Lori Ann (Hartline) Solon, 64, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at her home with her caring husband and daughter by her side. Born to the late Gordon Hartline and Sharon (Johnson) Granneman in Crestline, Ohio, August 12, 1961, she graduated from Northmor High School and attended Pioneer Career Center for Cosmetology.
Lori was survived by her beloved husband Mark Solon, a daughter Killian Butts (Tim);
grandchildren Dominic, Hadley, Aubrina, Aston, and Avery; sister Stacy Craner (Cary), brothers Rick Hartline (Joanne) and Greg Hartline (Teri), step daughters Emily Solon, Katie Solon, and Abigail Hammond (Michael). She is predeceased by her parents and daughter Cheyanne Cuffman.
Lori worked as a hairstylist and co-owned the Styling Station in Galion for most of her
career and also worked a short time at New Images in Galion. She loved her work deeply, not
only as a profession but as a way to connect with others. Her clients quickly became her
friends, and she often went above and beyond for them - making house calls for the elderly,
visiting nursing homes, and even offering to style cherished clients one final time at the funeral
home when families requested it.
Lori was well known for being kind and caring to all and had a gift for forming lasting
friendships. She was empathetic, compassionate, and kind; qualities that were shown in each
of her relationships. As a big sister, she naturally took on a nurturing role - driving her younger
siblings to appointments, helping with their needs, or simply spending time together. She
delighted in bringing her family together and was the person everyone knew they could count
on, no matter the need.
As an active grandmother she was often referred to as the "cool grandma" who loved to spend as much time with her grandchildren as time would allow. She filled their lives with fun,
adventure and unconditional love. Lori's trusting spirit and her ability to always see the good in
others were among her most treasured qualities.
Lori was a regular attender of Lexington Grace Church, where she continued to grow in her faith and love of Jesus Christ. Because of that faith, her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now free from pain, and resting in the presence of her Lord.
