Lorie Ann Spradling, 59, of Fulton, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at home on Tuesday May 20th, 2025.
Lorie was born on March 8th, 1966 in Columbia, MO. She was the daughter of James and Norma (Sims) Harrison, who preceded her in death.
On April 5th,1999 she was united in marriage to Kevin Spradling in Hams Prairie, MO.
She was a member of the Dixie Christian Church and loved by all there. Lorie was an outdoor enthusiast, especially when it came to her farm with all the cows, horses, chickens and ducks. She loved spending time at the cabin with family and friends and being out on the water and getting the R&R she needed. She loved attending car shows and showing off her passion for hot rods.
Lorie worked for Sunshine Laundry for over 12 years. She was also employed by housing at the colleges, security with Amvets, and with the social security office. Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, riding in the truck with Kevin, and of course her basset hounds.
Lorie was as strong and stubborn as a mule. She never let the battle with breast cancer keep her down. She fought so hard, especially towards the end, and was extremely brave. She was always putting a smile on everyone's face and sunshine in our hearts. Even on her death bed she was making jokes and keeping up spirits. Even in the toughest of times she always knew just what to say to make it ok. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Those that remain to cherish Lorie's memory are her husband, Kevin Spradling of the home; two sons, Levi McGoldrick (Danielle) of Fulton, MO and Phillip Spradling of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Alesha McGoldrick of Fulton, MO and Samantha Burry (Steven) of Clark, MO; three step-children, Ashley Saldivar (Pedro), Dustin Spradling and Chasity Spradling all of Wichita, KS; three brothers, James Harrison (Mary), Robert Harrison (Susan) and Michael Harrison (Heidi); three sisters, Debbie Winterbower, Anita Martin and Teresa Harrison; grandchildren, Nora, Taegon, Aliccah, Maria, Noah, Chloe, Cele, Leo, Brandon, Levi Jr, Emma, Addison and Jameson; great-grandson, Lathyn and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251.
