Lorraine Julian, age 88, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on May 17th, 2025. Born in Wilmington, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Pearl (Verruno) and Ernest Nepa.
She graduated from Wilmington High School and Goldey Beacom College with a degree in Business Administration and spent time working at John Wanamaker's as a sales associate in addition to DuPont and its subsidiary. Most importantly, Lorraine was a dedicated homemaker for her four children and husband. She was known for never coming to an event empty-handed, always bringing a meal or gift in hand. Lorraine always kept active, enjoying yoga, Zumba, and golf while living in Delaware and Naples, FL with her husband, Robert. Her life revolved around her family, and she will be dearly missed by her children and grandchildren.
Lorraine is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Robert J. Julian, and her siblings, Leonard Nepa, Carmine Nepa, Francis Nepa, Viola Santucci, and C. Jean Ianni and her son-in-law, Douglas V. Smith.
She is survived by her children, Robert Julian (Candy), Karla Julian, Lorraine Julian Scott (Thomas H. Scott), and Nancy Julian; her grandchildren, Adelina and Isabella Julian, and Shaley Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Catholic Church, 10 Old Church Road Greenville, DE 19807, on Wednesday May 21, 2025.
