Mckenzie Julian Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

McKenzie White Julian, 29, passed away unexpectedly from a car accident on Sunday, August 10th, 2025. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; her parents, Ron and Cathy White; her sister and brother-in-law, Alicia and Gabe Redfern; and many other well-loved friends and family members.

McKenzie was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 16th, 1995. She graduated from Assumption High School in 2014 and from Xavier University in 2018, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She was a licensed CPA and worked for Yum! Brands with their internal audit team.

McKenzie will be remembered by her loving and compassionate spirit. She was a bubbly, smart, caring, and incredible woman that loved to plan an adventure and always had a smile on her face. She was known by so many for how big her heart was for others. Her friends were her bonus family, and she always went out of her way to prioritize them, spend time with them, and truly express how much they meant to her. Her family was incredibly blessed to have her for 29 years and will forever be impacted by her legacy. Above all else, her love for Christ was a light to everyone she came into contact with.

Since she was young, in her words, McKenzie had dreams to save the world. That passion was expressed through her love of every animal she met. She had several pets as a child that she was always incredibly close to. As she got older, she found so much joy in fostering dogs. She and her husband had two rescue dogs, Korra and Jasmine, with whom she was very much in love.

Her visitation will be held Sunday August 17th at Ratterman Brothers East Louisville from 2pm-6pm. Her funeral service will be held at The Chapel in the Woods on Monday August 18th at 1pm, with a graveside service to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
