Zelinda “Zee” Julian, age 51, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025. She was born on November 13, 1973, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to parents Betty Julian and Rafael Lucero.
Zee grew up in Albuquerque and attended Valley High School before continuing her education at ITT Technical Institute. She was a dedicated and valued employee at Lectrosonics for 17 years, where she began as an operator and advanced to become a lead operator and engineering assistant coordinator.
A woman of faith, Zee was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Outside of work, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, watching sports, shopping, and playing casino games. She loved shooting pool, participating in sports pool betting, and especially looked forward to Saturday family dinners. Zee had a great admiration for classic cars and was a proud member of the Duke City 49er Fan Club.
She was preceded in death by her sister Crystal, her dad Daniel, her aunties Esther, Nancy, and Julie, and her grandpa Joe.
Zee is survived by her loving mother Betty of Albuquerque; her brothers Daniel of Washington and John of Albuquerque; her sisters Liz of Albuquerque and Theresa of Taos; her nieces Arianna and Alicia of Albuquerque; her best friend Lorraine of Rio Rancho; her cousin Julius of Albuquerque; and many nephews and nieces spanning from Taos, NM to Washington State.
Zee will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and the love she shared so freely with family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
