Lorraine A. Lefebvre, 88, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Monday, August 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Armand V. Lefebvre with whom she recently celebrated their 69th Wedding Anniversary.

She was born in Lowell on February 4, 1937, and was the daughter of the late George "Pete" Grondine and Loretta M. (Grenon) Belanger.

She grew up in Lowell, graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Lowell, was soon married and began raising her family. In 1972, she moved to Dracut, began working at E. Butterworth & Company as an office administrator, later in procurement at Adden Furniture, and as a part-time clerk at Macy's.

In addition to her loving husband Lorraine is survived by her four children, Denise (Lefebvre) Sayer and her husband, James of Litchfield, NH, Susan (Lefebvre) Houghtaling and her partner, Brian Wilkins of Dracut, MA, Steven Lefebvre and his wife, Barbara of Mont Vernon, NH, Kenneth Lefebvre and his partner, Shannon Laferriere of Litchfield, NH; she dearly loved and delighted in her eight grandchildren: Keri (Sayer) Collins (deceased), Brett Sayer, Justin Houghtaling, Stephanie Sayer, Krista Houghtaling, Matthew Lefebvre, Kelly Lefebvre, and Taylor Lefebvre; and six great-grandchildren, Jameson Collins, Zoey Crete-Sayer, Livia Crete-Sayer, Emmalyn Collins, Levi Ramirez and Lilah Ramirez. Lorraine also leaves behind her loving sister, Maureen Mucciaccio of Norton, MA; her brother Richard Grondine of Washington, DC; and a brother-in-law, Donald Lefebvre of Nashua, NH. She would also would have liked to recognize Timmy Germaine who she often referred to as another son because of his love, care, concern, and regular visits to make sure Lorraine and Armand were doing well.

Lorraine enjoyed traveling, loved the Green Mountains in Vermont, frequenting local casinos, and spending time with dear friends, Brendon and Kelly Forest, at Paddy's on Friday nights. She also loved her many other friends at Paddy's who will fondly remember her for giving hugs to everyone before she left. During her travels, she enjoyed meeting and making new friends, riding on a camel, visiting wine country in California, and holding an alligator. Her most treasured memory is the trip she won to walk the red carpet at the Daytime Emmy Awards in California. In her later years, Lorraine enjoyed her cats, Sassy and Snuggles, doing word search puzzles to help keep her mind sharp, and visits from her children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lorraine's memory to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

In honor of Lorraine's last wishes, there will be no services.
