Lorraine Serna left this life after a long-term illness and went to her reward on 23 May 2024. She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Wayne Mardis and mother, Corine Montoya-Mardis, survived by her godfather, Florival, and three cousins, Lillian, Robert, and Loretta, as well as beloved neighbors, Denise and Bill and Lorraine's godsons, Karl and Jeremy.
Lorraine was raised in Duranes, she was Baptized into the Catholic faith at San Felipe de Neri Church, where she came to know and love the Lord.
Lorraine graduated Valley High School and eventually made the move to Corrales. During her time in Corrales, she spent her days caring for her mother and working at Albertsons Grocery Store where she came to be well known and loved by customers and coworkers alike. After many years of service, she retired and lived out her days until her recent move to the Beehive Care Facility where she passed.
Lorraine was quick with a smile and laugh, she will be missed.
