Louis J. Cappelli

Louis J. Cappelli, 96, of Lafayette Hill, formerly of Conshohocken, died on November 23, 2024 at St. Joseph Villa in Flourtown. He was the loving husband of the late Sabina M. (Lesniewski) Cappelli of 70 years. Lou was born in Conshohocken, PA on April 3, 1928 to the late Giuseppe and Anna (Stalone) Cappelli. He was a US Army veteran. Lou worked for Allenwood Steel and the US Postal Service in Conshohocken, PA for many years. He was a devout catholic and member of St. Philip Neri Church, and the former SS. Cosmas and Damian Church. Lou was a former President of the Andrew Lanutti Post in Conshohocken, PA. He enjoyed playing cards with friends, traveling with his wife and family, and watching western movies. Lou was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his son Joseph Cappelli and wife Karen Studebaker Cappelli of Blue Bell, 2 grandchildren Amanda and Paige. He was pre-deceased by 4 infant children Anna Marie, Edward, Louis and Palma, and his brother Matthew Cappelli. Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing from 10:00-10:50 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM on Friday, November 29, 2024 at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. Interment will be private at a later date in St. Matthew Cemetery.
