Growing up my brother and I were blessed to have a Summer home next door to what began as Louie and his sweet mother, Daisy´s, Summer cabin. We later knew it as Louie, Eva Mae and Daisy´s cabin until her passing. Our knocks on their door were always answered with a welcoming smile and a "Come on in!!´ Our family later changed our Summer home into a permanent home when our dad retired. Our mom continued to live there for a short time and the Geiserts were wonderful neighbors, always checking in on her. Throughout the years, we kept tabs on Louie and Eva Mae and how they were doing. When Louie began to have more hospital stays, my brother would pop in and out to visit him...easy to do when you work in OT at Good Sam. Through good times and harder times, Louie was always the Louie we grew up knowing...kind, gentle, so giving and appreciative, never a complaining word did we hear, and such a wealth of information on just about anything we talked about. We will always remember when our parents passed away...Louie was with us every step of the way, gently guiding us and making sure we got what we wanted, not what someone thought we should have. Louie had his own cheer leader who stood by his side in all ways for 61 years. Even when Eva Mae was facing her own health challenges, Louie was her Number 1 priority. Sending much love and prayers to Eva Mae and all who knew this amazing man...The Jensen and The Wright Families.

Mr. Geisert was my 8th grade Mechanical Arts teacher, a subject that I wasn´t very good at. Good guy.

I was one of Mr. Geisert's students in his drafting class at Ford Jr. High. It was in 1969-70. I learned plenty from him on my way to a decades long career as an architect in Portland. He taught me about 2D projection, isometric drawings and types of lines and how to draft and read drawings. Plus the terminology of communicating through drawings and drafting. Also learned plenty from him about wood species and uses for wood. I haven't thought about him in years until hearing about his passing. He was an amazing teacher.

When we were young there were four cousins that were very close and Louie was one of us. When us three girls, Nancy Goin, Diane Goin and Judy Hartle, would stay at our Grandparents house he and his friend would tease us and try to scare us late at night with his "big mask". Louie and the "girls" spent a lot of fun times together and he will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Louie and we will see you in Heaven. Judy (one of the "girls)

Louis always made Christmas Eve special for me as a child. Santa and he were good friends, although you never saw them together. Santa would always stop by Louis and Eva Mae's house during our Christmas Eve celebration. Louis and Eva attended all my graduations.Louis you are truly missed.

Sorry to hear of Louis´s passing. He was a long time friend of Skip´s and a neighbor growing up in Puyallup. We also were neighbors of his at his cabin on the KP. We both have awesome memories of Louis. God bless his memory. We hope to attend the service on Tuesday Eva Mae. Our prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
