Louis Grue Jr.

July 20, 1930, to September 28, 2025

Louis Grue Jr, son of the late Louis Grue Sr. and Christine Grue of Baltimore, Maryland, died peacefully at his home in Randallstown, MD on September 28, 2025. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Peggy) D. Grue. He is survived by two sons, John Grue of Randallstown and Louis Grue III and Wyatt Andrews of Silver Spring, MD, his sister-in-law Gerry Norfolk of Berlin, MD, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sisters and their husbands, Florence and Frank Serra, Louise and William Schultz, and his brother-in-law LeRoy Norfolk.

Louis was born in Westminster, MD. He was a graduate of Loyola HS in Baltimore, attended Loyola College before joining the U.S Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He owned and operated several electronic repair shops, as well as Modern Electronics Distributors, Inc., in Dundalk Maryland for many years before retiring. During his retirement he worked part time for Wilhide Florist, delivering flowers across the Maryland and DC Metro area, which he found rewarding.

Louis was a conservative and religious man who loved his family and country. He enjoyed working on DIY projects, and every summer he had a grand vegetable garden. He was always helping friends and neighbors with projects. He will be remembered for being a kind and generous human.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or St Jude Hospital in honor of Louis Grue Jr.

I am so very sorry for the passing of Mr. Louis Grue. I lived across the street from him in his Randallstown home for 7 years and my parents were friends with he and his wife Peggy. He was always a very happy and kind man who I remember fondly. I know my parents loved Mr. Lou as well and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
