Louis Alan Harrison

Louis Alan Harrison, 70, of Watson, Louisiana, passed away on March 21, 2025. He was born on May 4, 1954, in Baton Rouge and was a proud graduate of Live Oak High School and Southeastern Louisiana University.
Louis dedicated over 30 years of service to the State of Louisiana, building a career marked by hard work and commitment in Information Technology. Outside of work, he had a deep love for sports, especially LSU football and baseball. He found joy in fishing, spending time with his family, and having meals with friends at Duke's/Rudy's. Above all, his family was his greatest love and priority.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, humor, and generous heart. Always ready with a clever one-liner, Louis had a way of bringing laughter to those around him. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back. His selflessness and unwavering support for his loved ones made him a remarkable father and friend to all.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Harrell and Verna Harrison; his sister, Sandy Harrison; his brother, Michael Harrison; grandparents and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his three children, Heather Harrison, Eric Harrison and his wife Kaitlin, and Zachary Harrison and his wife Lauren; 6 grandchildren, Benjamin, William, and Isabella Robinson, Loxley, Dacre and Lincoln Harrison.
Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, Louisiana, on Friday, March 28, 2025. Visitation will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
Louis leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The family would like to invite all visitors to a reception celebrating the life of Louis at 34869 Joel Ott following the service.
