Obituary for Louis L. Mason II
Louis L. Mason II, age 54, passed away suddenly on March 29, 2022. Louis, better known as Louie, was born on April 8, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio to Louis L. Mason and Jeanie Thompson. He is preceded in death by his first wife Joy Mason, father Louis L. Mason, mother Jeanie Thompson, and stepmother Joan Mason.
He is survived by the love of his life, his queen, wife Cassandra Mason, daughter Christina (Supriyanto) Mason Fields, sister Lynda (Michael) Frost, sister Nicole Mason, brother Eddie (Gina) Thompson, brother Tracy Whitescarver, brother Lonny Whitescarver, niece Brittney (Brandon) Sims, nephew Michael (Jordan) Collins, niece Danielle Collins, nephew Gage Thompson, niece Emma Thompson, niece Zoey Whitescarver, niece Madison Thompson, great nephew Carson Collins and many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Louie attended West High School. He received his GED in 1994 and went on to graduate from Columbus State Community College with an associate degree in electronic engineering in 1996. He was a fierce Cleveland Browns fan; he also loved the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes. If he wasn't watching them on TV, he was listening to them on the radio. He had a special bond with his mom, especially when it came to sports. They talked to each other every single night. They never ended their conversation without saying this to one another; God is good, all the time, all the time, God is good. I love you #1 mamma; I love you #1 son.
Louie had a big loving heart. If he loved you, you knew it. He was extremely outgoing and could talk to any and everyone. Louie loved the Lord with all his heart and recently rededicated his life to Him; any time he had an opportunity, he would share the gospel of Christ. He was the type of person that if you ever met him, you would never forget him, especially his laugh. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Saturday April 9, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at O.R. Woodyard Co., 1346 S. High St, Columbus, Ohio 43207. Service will be held immediately following visitation.
