Louis “Lou” Paul Watson, JR., 52 years, passed away this past Saturday evening, March 2, 2024, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital after an illness. Lou was born in Augsburg, Germany, to Joseph James Gerhart and Debra C. Hill Gerhart. He was educated in the states and graduated high school and went on to attain his Bachelors of Science degree in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In his professional working years, he was an HVAC Supervising Manager for various companies.
Survivors include his wife; Kate of Brandon, Florida, son, Zackary James Rust of Phoenix, Arizona, daughters, Zoe Michelle Rust and Paige Kristen Rust both of Brandon, Florida, and sister, Michelle L. Lyle (James) of Woodruff, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2024, 5:30 – 6:30 pm, at Liberty Baptist Church in Inman. At 6:30 pm, a Celebration of Lou’s life will be held with Pastor David Duncan officiating. Inurnment will be private.
All arrangements are entrusted into the care and under the direction of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary, 864-461-7788.
