Louise M. Geracci

Louise M. Geracci, 90, of Las Vegas, NV, passed on February 25, 2023 at Nathan Adelson Hospice with her family at her side.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Caggiano) D'Anna.
Louise attended Loretta Academy and Niagara University where she graduated from the College of Nursing with B.S.N degree and became a Registered Nurse. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital and Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
She met the love of her life, James P. Geracci, at a Niagara University school dance and they were married on June 7,, 1955 at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Niagara Falls.
She moved to Buffalo, NY with Jim where he completed dental school at University of Buffalo. Following graduation, Jim joined the US Air Force and they began a career that would take them around the United States and the world including New Jersey, Panama, Boston, Alabama, Spain, and Las Vegas, NV.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, James P. Geracci, her daughter, Laurie, and her brother, Edward D'Anna. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Tanja Scherm) Geracci, D.D.S, and James (Kristie) Geracci, MD and her grandchildren, Jamison Geracci, Harper Geracci, Greer Geracci, Justin Geracci, and Isa Scherm.
Above all, Louise will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. May she rest in peace with her Lord that she loved so much.
