Louise Ihlenfeldt, 91, Kewaunee, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 7, 2024, with her family by her side. On June 4, 1955, she married Harlan Ihlenfeldt at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Denmark.

Louise and Harlan enjoyed the family farm together for over 50 years and were never afraid of a hard day's work. Louise enjoyed the time spent over the years working with hired hands that eventually turned into extended family. Their neighbors that were always always there when they needed them, and friends she and the family made along the way. She loved sewing, baking for all who entered the house, breaking horses, time spent in the fields, and nature. She took great pride in her garden and yard and at Christmas her outside lights were also enjoyed by all.

Louise is survived by her children: Alan (Lisa) Ihlenfeldt, Sue (Pete) Benson, Sharon (Paul) Jerabek, Brian "Bucky" (Laura) Ihlenfeldt, her grandchildren: Dana Ihlenfeldt, Dan Lehman, Mike Lehman, Ashley (Wayne) Dean, Annetta (Justin) Neumann, Audrey Jerabek, Andrea Jerabek, Jake Ihlenfeldt, Mia Ihlenfeldt, and Sam Ihlenfeldt. 3 great-grandchildren: Ember Dean, Marshall and Devon Neumann and a brother-in law Joe Kobes. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Of all, her lifelong friend of 85 years Nancy Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harlan Ihlenfeldt, 4 brothers and 4 sisters-in-law: Daniel Petersen, Gordie (Beatrice) Petersen, Howard (Marion) Peterson, Alvin Petersen, 2 sisters: Delia Zokan and Alice Kobes, and Harlan's Siblings: Edna, Fred, Irene, Elaine, and Lyle.
