Lourena Doris Snodgrass, age 103, went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2024.
Born in Brown, Harrison County, West Virginia, Lourena lived in Akron, Ohio. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, going to church, and gardening. She also enjoyed baking.
Lourena is preceded in death by her husband, Roy; grandson, Derik; and her parents, James Thomas McCullough and Martha Leota Whaley McCullough. She is survived in death by her son, James Larry Snodgrass; daughter, Linda Colley; grandchildren, Andrea (Steve) Kazar, Carman Rashid, Chad Colley, Justin (Kathy) Snodgrass, Lindsey Tartley; great grandchildren, Lauren, Logan, and Lucas Kazar, and Taylor Rashid; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 2-5:00 p.m. and Monday, January 15, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home in Akron, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312, with a memorial service immediately following on Monday.
