Luanne Beth (Marino) Circosta, 62, entered the Journey of Everlasting Life, on August 13, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Agawam, she was the daughter of the late Ernest & Gloria (Chica) Marino. She was a Springfield resident for over 40 years and was the wife of Salvatore O. Circosta.
Luanne was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a woman of great Catholic faith; amid suffering from Chrons disease for the last 25 years. She was strong and stubborn yet generous and caring. Luanne loved and took great pleasure in cooking for her family, going to the farm, and jarring tomatoes. It filled her heart with joy to have her family around the dinner table. Luanne particularly loved making Christmas cookies and decorating for Christmas; she took great pride in her hand painted village and nativity set.
Along with her husband, Salvatore, she leaves her son, Salvatore S. Circosta, daughters, Jennifer Leshinski, Gina Circosta, and Alicia Circosta, son-in-law, Omar,and grandchildren, Jaden, Taje, Logan, Zyla, Dominic, Zaniah, Dillon, Jaxson, and Mia. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Jezabelle, and sister, Laurie.
Luannes funeral services will be Saturday, August 17th with a wake from 8:30-10 a.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield, proceeding to her 11 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sons & Daughters of Italy, PO Box 81496, Springfield, MA 01138.
