Luca Robert Kukuk

Luca Robert Kukuk was taken home at the age of 22, to be with Jesus Christ, on March 6, 2025. He was born on June 19, 2002, in Keflavik, Iceland at the Naval Air Station Hospital to the parents of Robert Allen Kukuk and Rita Piana Kukuk. Luca grew up in Pace, Florida, with his parents and his sister, Alessia Kukuk.
Luca had a lifelong passion for baseball and his love for the sport began at 4 years old where he played at Gospel Projects Youth Athletic Club (YAC) and Santa Rosa Christian Academy. Luca successfully completed his education as a home school student and then earned a bachelor's degree in cyber security from Pensacola State College in 2022.
He loved traveling with his family, building Legos, solving Rubix cubes, engaging in air soft battle with friends, playing board games, gaming online, and reading. Luca had a love of learning, programming and coding, cooking with his sister and mom, working on home improvements and renovations on his new house with his dad, and, of course, playing music and worshiping the Lord. Luca had a deep love for family, friends, and Jesus Christ. His warm, contagious smile and loud, joyful laughter made him a beacon of positivity. He was dedicated to serving his community through volunteering at Teen Court, Vacation Bible School (VBS), assisting in children's ministry, and being part of the creative arts team. Luca was always willing to help wherever needed and served as a role model and mentor to many. His love for the Lord and music was nurtured at home and Woodbine Church. Luca began learning guitar from his father, quickly surpassing him in skill. After six months of playing, he successfully played the lead for "The Cross Has the Final Word." His musical abilities enriched the worship experience for everyone around him where he played rhythm, lead, and bass guitar. Luca's last performance was with his proud father on the night he lost his life, serving the Lord with his musical talents until the very end. Luca's legacy of love, faith, and service will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who knew him.
Luca had an exceptional and impactful career at Chick-fil-A, beginning in August 2018 until his passing. During his time there, he was awarded two scholarships that supported his college education. Rising through the ranks, he became a shift supervisor responsible for both the front and back of the house-a remarkable achievement. Luca's contributions to the Bayou Blvd location were indeed transformative. His development of a four-lane traffic flow and the integration of a new scheduling platform and many others were successful at increasing sales and efficiency. Additionally, Luca and Micah Bonner, along with John Graves, created an app to enhance productivity. This innovation aimed to boost sales and efficiency, with plans to expand these improvements to other Chick-fil-A stores. Luca's dedication, innovation, and leadership skills left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the business.
Luca was a dedicated and goal-oriented young man, and in April 2024, he purchased his first home. Luca had hopes and dreams to get married and start a family with his girlfriend of 4 years, Kaitlin Murphy.
He will always be remembered by his parents, Robert and Rita Kukuk; his sister, Alessia Kukuk; his grandmother, Rosa D'Ali; his girlfriend, Kaitlin Murphy; and a host of beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Woodbine Church 5200 Woodbine Church 5200 Woodbine Road, Pace Florida 32571 with visitation from 11:00-12:00 pm and service at 12:00-1:00 pm
