Personal History: Elly was a native of Germany and was the second of five children born to Helmut and Anna Marga Kilian. She was a graduate of The Johanna- Rose School in Ahlen. She was a self-employed chef running her own restaurant in Morsum on Sylt.
Survived by: Elly is survived by her daughter, Anika Schier, on Sylt, Germany; a son, Jan-Sören Smedt, of Ahlen, Germany; three grandchildren; and an uncle, Lutz Gruse, of Pace, FL.
Service Information: Funeral Service for Elly will be held in Germany on the Island of Sylt.
Acknowledgments: The Family wishes to thank the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for the care given to their mother and niece during her time of illness.
