Lucille Wiley Coy

Mrs. Lucille Wiley Coy, 95, widow of Clyde Lee Coy, died Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her residence. Born December 30, 1929 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Minnie Dean Wiley. She was a retired Co-Owner of Tic Toc Nursery School after more than twenty years and later worked at Beaumont Inn Gift Shop and Shakertown. Lucille was a longtime member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years. She was also a member of the Newcomers Homemakers Club, a former Girl Scout Leader, and an avid U.K. fan.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra (Lloyd) Pickett of Harrodsburg; three sons: Michael (Muzzette) Coy of San Diego, Larry (Beth) Coy of Lexington, and Jeffrey Coy of Harrodsburg; one brother Harry (Jane) Wiley of Harrodsburg; two sisters: Frances Anness and Norma Jean Lester both of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren: Jeremy (Chelsea) Coy, Amanda (Matthew) Heacock, Matthew Coy, Justin (Katie) Coy, Eric (Danica) Coy, Haley (Billy) Whittaker, and Beth Ann Lunce; nine great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by one son Douglas Coy and one brother Donald Wiley.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2025 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Dr. Robert DeFoor officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Jeremy Coy, Eric Coy, Matthew Heacock, Brian Wiley, Chris Wiley, and Carson Coy serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Monday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
